Sault College Entry Requirements

To be admissible to study full-time at the College, students need to furnish the following documents:

 

  • All India Senior School Certificate, Higher Secondary School Certificate, Year 12 State Board Exams (AISSCE, ISCE, SSC) Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate Certificate (AISSCE, ISC, Pre-University Certificate Statement of Marks)
  • Copies of original documents should be attested as “true copies” by the educational institution
  • School Record Diploma/Degree certificate Mark sheets for each year of study
  • Proof of English Proficiency Test scores
  • Resume/CV 

 

As many programmes are competitive, students should be aware that possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. For some programmes, higher academic performance and good English proficiency results may be required.

The cooperative programmes at Sault provide in-depth learning opportunities through one-to-one conversations, field placements, internships, and expertly informed programme modules. 

 

Each academic year, the Student Job Center hosts several job and career events that bring together prospective employers and college partners on campus for direct engagement. It also provides career support services like job search advice, resume and cover letter writing workshops, one-to-one meetings with Student Employment Officers, and regular job postings both on and off campus.

 

Sault College English Proficiency Requirement

To ensure a high standard of language proficiency among its students, Sault College has established specific requirements for English proficiency based on the type of programme being pursued.

 

Diploma and College Certificate Programmes

  • TOEFL score of 79-80 for the Internet-based test (iBT) and no test below 20
  • IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no band lower than 5.5
  • Cambridge English Exam C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge Score of 169 or more with no single test score below 162
  • PTE Academic score of 60
  • Duolingo score of 110 (minimum)
  • CAEL CE score of 60 (minimum)

 

Graduate Certificate Programmes

  • TOEFL score of 88 for the Internet-based Test (iBT) and no test below 21
  • IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0
  • Cambridge English Exam C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a Cambridge Score of 176 or more with no single test score below 169
  • PTE Academic score of 60  (minimum)
  • Duolingo score of 120 (minimum)
  • CAEL overall band score of 70 and no part below 60

 

Students should note that they must submit English Proficiency test results that are not older than two years.
