• CHEM 692 M.Sc. Thesis Research 2 (6 credits)

• CHEM 693 M.Sc. Thesis Research 3 (9 credits)

• CHEM 694 M.Sc. Thesis Research 4 (12 credits)

• CHEM 695 M.Sc. Thesis Research 5 (15 credits)

Required Courses (5 credits)
 

• CHEM 650 Seminars in Chemistry 1 (1 credit)

• CHEM 651 Seminars in Chemistry 2 (1 credit)

• CHEM 688 Progress Assessment 1 (3 credits)

Complementary Courses (9-16 credits)
 

• Students will normally take 9-16 credits of CHEM (or approved) courses at the 500 or 600 level.

Academic Eligibility:
 

• Applicants must hold a B.Sc. degree (or equivalent) in a discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.

• The university degree, described above, must have been completed with an overall Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0, or a Grade Point Average of 3.2/4.0 within the last two full-time academic years.

• Applicants from other institutions should have an academic background equivalent to that of a McGill graduate in the Chemistry Honours/Major programs.

Indian Student Eligibility:
 

• Candidates should hold a B.Sc. degree or its equivalent from institutions with a NAAC rating of “A”.

• The university degree, described above, must have been completed with a minimum standing of 3.3/4.0 or the equivalent, according to the grading scale on the transcript.

• Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
