Kwantlen Polytechnic University Entry Requirements

All areas like the undergraduate, graduate, vocational or preparatory level of study requires students to submit their English Language Proficiency Test Scores. Students must also pay CAD 120 as an application fee, a CAD 1,000 confirmation deposit for open intake programs, and a CAD 1,500 confirmation deposit for limited intake programs. The application cost is not refundable, and only credit cards are accepted for payment. Only full-time students who are in possession of a legal work permit may work on or off campus. Kwantlen Polytechnic University Placements can be on-campus, off-campus, or after graduation. Students are permitted to work on school property without a work permit. However, they must meet the requirements listed below -

• A full-time postsecondary student is required.
• possess a valid student ID
• Social Insurance Number required (SIN)
• Students have the option of working on campus for the university, a teaching member, a student organization, themselves, a private company, or a private contractor.

The following requirements must be met by students who wish to work off-campus -

• Possess a valid student ID
• Must enroll in school full-time.
• Already begun your studies
• Studying must last six months and lead to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
• Possess a social security number (SIN)
• 20 hours of off-campus labor per week are allowed for students.
• Student workers are permitted to work full-time during breaks.

To work in Canada upon graduation, students must meet the requirements listed below -

• Must be enrolled full-time in school in Canada
• Completed a course that lasted at least 8 months
• Possess a valid student ID
• Can apply for a work permit 90 days after receiving a document stating that their studies are finished
