Program Overview

This course provides an education in the conceptualisation, design, construction and representation of buildings and other structures of a range of types and scales. Students develop an ability to integrate information drawn from a range of subject areas, and acquire advanced knowledge and skills that prepare them for successful careers in the creative and diverse world of architectural practice. The course provides core content in areas of technology, structures and professional practice. Application of material from these subjects occurs in design studio units that form the primary mode of learning in the course.
