- A Bachelor of Science in the discipline of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, ecology, climate and atmospheric sciences, marine science, geosciences, geography, geology environmental studies, environmental engineering, civil engineering, aquaculture, agriculture or natural resource management, or equivalent qualification or;
- Completion of the embedded graduate certificate in this discipline, from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification.
