Subject pre-requisite: General Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C), or equivalent.

To study this degree we also assume you have sound knowledge in:
 

• English (Units 3 & 4, C)

We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12).

Career opportunities in wildlife management are growing in Australia and internationally as climate change impacts wildlife conservation. Manage wildlife in a sanctuary or zoo, or as a protected area ranger. Manage wildlife as game or as pest species (both native and introduced species) to mitigate human-wildlife conflict, such as relocating pest animals or birds striking aircraft. Graduates can find work as a biosecurity officer, ranger, zookeeper, fauna spotter catcher, pest control officer, ecotourism guide, conservation officer, vertebrate pest manager, wildlife ecologist, wildlife scientist, and game management officer.
