In the only degree of its kind in South Australia you’ll learn to diagnose and treat disorders of the foot and lower limb. If you’re interested in working with people and promoting wellbeing, this is the degree for you.Healthy feet are an important part of the body’s holistic health, and many of us at some point in our lives will experience foot problems. In the Bachelor of Podiatry, there’s a major focus on practical skills for keeping feet healthy every day, as well the ability to diagnose and manage illness and disability. You’ll get the opportunity to practice these skills within a vast range of industry organisations.

  • Human Anatomy 100
  • Human Physiology 100
  • Foundations of Health
  • Podiatry Studies 100
  • Lower Limb Anatomy and Biomechanics 101
  • Human Physiology 101
  • Podiatry Studies 101
  • Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent

  • Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and achieved a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), or

  • Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or

  • Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points

  • Applicants who have not achieved the Selection Rank required for automatic selection may be selected for any remaining places based on the grades of their year 12 subjects.
     

In addition to meeting academic entry requirements, international students who speak English as a second or additional language must also meet the University's English language entry requirements. The minimum language requirements for this program are:

Indicative Tution Fees -  AUD$ 39,700 per annum (per 1.0 EFTSL)
