Exercise and physical activity positively affect human life in a variety of ways - biologically, psychologically and socially. In this industry-relevant degree you'll develop a holistic understanding of these impacts.You can align your studies with your career aspirations, with the opportunity to select one of two primary streams in either Exercise and Sport Science or Health and Physical Education. Tailor your degree even further and broaden your knowledge by selecting a secondary study stream from a wide range options.

Modules:
 

  • Human Anatomy 100
  • Foundations in Human Movement, Exercise and Sports Science
  • Physiology Essentials 100
  • Foundations of Physical Activity and Health
  • Introduction to Group and Team Psychology
  • Motor Development and Ageing
  • Meet any prerequisite requirements with a minimum grade of C- or equivalent

  • Qualify for the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), and achieved a competitive Selection Rank (ATAR), or

  • Complete secondary qualifications equivalent to SACE, or

  • Complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum score of 24 points

  • Applicants who have not achieved the Selection Rank required for automatic selection may be selected for any remaining places based on the grades of their year 12 subjects.
     

In addition to meeting academic entry requirements, international students who speak English as a second or additional language must also meet the University's English language entry requirements. The minimum language requirements for this program are:

  • IELTS writing [6.0]

Indicative Tution Fees -  AUD$ 31,900 per annum (per 1.0 EFTSL)
