  • Foundations in Human Movement, Exercise and Sports Science
  • Physiology Essentials 100

  • Complete or partly complete a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or
  • Complete at least four Open Universities Australia (OUA) courses at undergraduate level or above

  • Exercise scientist: use a combination of biomechanics, physiology, and psychology to help assess and ultimately increase an individual’s fitness, sporting performance and general health.
  • Athlete counsellor (with further study): improve and sustain the wellbeing, mental functioning and physical performance of athletes. 
  • School counsellor (with further study): work across primary and secondary schools to advocate student wellbeing.
  • Strength and conditioning coach: prepare athletes for high performance, enabling them the greatest advantage in competition.
  • Sport psychologist (with further study): work with athletes and coaches to increase athletic performance through psychological influences.
