University of New South Wales Entry Requirements

Depending on the subject the student intends to take, different entrance requirements must be taken into account. In order to ensure that students are prepared to succeed in their chosen degree, students must meet the University of New South Wales entry requirements, ranging from prior study to final high school test results. Students who are applying as overseas students through UAC will often be chosen based on their performance in the following areas:

  • An Australian Year 12 qualification (either outside or in Australia)
  • An International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
  • A New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) level 3
