Australian Defence Force personnel with four years or more experience, who have completed the Australian Defence Force Army All-Corps Captain, Sergeant, Warrant Officer or Chief Petty Officer course and an ADF-approved diploma, may be eligible to enter this program based on their military qualifications and Defence Force work experience (see Course rules and plans).

A candidate shall:
For Domestic and International Students studying at Armidale Campus
be qualified for admission; or
hold an approved overseas qualification under the Articulation Programs; or
hold an approved qualification* from an Australian TAFE or Registered Training Organisation; or
hold an AQF Level 5 Diploma of Military Leadership DEF51512 or Diploma of Leadership DEF51115 or other recognised Australian Defence Force approved relevant Diploma, plus completion of the Australian Defence Force Army All-Corps Captain or Sergeant or Warrant Officer or Chief Petty Officer course, plus at least four years Australian Defence Force work experience; or
For International Students studying at UNE Sydney Campus
be an international student and be qualified for admission and be studying on a full-time fee-paying basis at the UNE Sydney campus.
English Language Requirements
All applicants must meet a minimum of one of the following criteria:
English is the applicant's first language; or
Satisfactory completion, within five years of the date of application for admission to UNE, of at least one year of full-time or equivalent full-time study at senior secondary, post-secondary or tertiary level in a country in which English is the primary official language or co-official language and in which English was the sole medium of instruction and assessment for the particular period of study claimed; or
A pass grade or better in an English language subject at Australian Year 12 level or overseas equivalent; or
An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic overall score of at least 6.0 with no sub-band less than 5.5*; or
Equivalent Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 213 in the computer-based test or at least 79 in the internet-based test with no less than 22 in the written component*; or
A Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic minimum overall score of 57 with no skill less than 50*
