About
The University of New England was first established in 1938 as New England University College, and it became an independent university in 1954. The university, which now has about 22,300 students pursuing higher education, was the first university in Australia to be founded outside of a state capital city, with its main campus situated in the city of Armidale in northern central New South Wales. There are several locations throughout Armidale where universities have campuses.
The university is located on 74 hectares of land, and its northern campus is only 5 kilometres from the city's centre. The old "Booloominbah" homestead is one of the buildings that the campus still maintains. The University Of New England Entry Requirements
The university offers rolling admissions, primarily for the Fall and Spring semesters. A non-refundable application fee of 40 AUD must be paid by interested candidates in order to apply directly to the university for any courses. Candidates may submit applications for UNE through October 26, 2023. Candidates with respectable grades from their last degree, a high GPA, and an SAT or ACT score have a high chance of getting admitted.
