The prevalence of digital technologies in industry is resulting in a growing demand for savvy IT professionals across a diverse range of sectors and roles.
Fields such as data science, business process management, process mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, virtual and augmented reality, business analytics, data visualisation, and the Internet of Things continue to evolve rapidly. Business investment in these areas continues to grow, as does the demand for expertise in these areas (source: Australia’s Digital Pulse, ACS/Deloitte).
In response to emerging industry trends, QUT has revised our postgraduate IT offerings. In our Master of Information Technology, we are offering three new majors, and have updated our existing majors to align with those emerging IT industry trends.
We offer one of the largest range of study specialisations within a postgraduate IT degree with eight majors, ranging from those connecting IT to business domains (e.g. Business Analysis) to those highly technical in nature (e.g. Software Development).
