Program Overview

Do you want to inspire young people to live healthy, active lives? This course gives you the opportunity to teach primary school students in the classroom and become a Health and Physical Education specialist, teaching from Early Childhood up to Year 10 in high schools.

Throughout your degree, you will gain qualifications in coaching and officiating, with the opportunity to work with specialist coaches from a variety of sporting bodies such as the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA), Tennis Australia, Basketball WA and Hockey WA.

- Teaching and Assessing for Oral Language Development
- Enriching learning through and about children's literature
- Teaching and Assessing for Reading and Writing development
- Supporting writing development for diverse learners in primary schools
Entry Requirement
Successful completion of one of the following:
- Murdoch University Preparation Course with a minimum of 50% in every subject
- MUPC (1 Trimester)
- Foundation Studies Course with a minimum of 50% in every subject.
