The Bachelor of Commerce will prepare you to become a business professional in a wide range of careers. You’ll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to business, followed by one or two majors to develop depth in your chosen discipline. The Bachelor of Cyber Security has been developed in consultation with cybersecurity experts from government and industry. You’ll gain the skills needed to harden organisations against cyber threats by building your awareness of the motivations, mindsets, capabilities and skills of cybercriminals; and by developing your expertise in information security and data privacy, offensive security, digital forensics, applied cryptography, secure coding and artificial intelligence.

Academic requirements:
- International selection rank: 80
- The selection rank is based on the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). It determines the minimum eligibility requirements for entry to Macquarie.
- For accounting, business information systems majors: HSC Mathematics Advanced or equivalent.
- For finance major: HSC Mathematics Extension 1 or equivalent.
- HSC Mathematics Extension 1 or HSC Mathematics Extension 2 plus Information Processes and Technology and/or Software Design and Development, or equivalent.
