IHM has a different English Proficiency requirement for every course that is customised depending on the system's complexity. However, the following groups are exempted from providing English test results:

- Permanent Residents of English-speaking countries
- Individuals who have resided in an English-speaking country for at least ten years and completed secondary or tertiary education there
