Academic Entry Requirements
This program is offered to International Students by Alternate Entry only. International Students should enrol in the Bachelor of Information Technology, and then after one or more semesters with excellent results, the Faculty of Science and Technology may invite them to undertake an interview to transfer into the Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice)."

English language requirement
Overall Academic IELTS band score of 6.0, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent

Extra Requirements
Students must attend an interview with IBM and Federation University before acceptance into the program.

The Bachelor of Information Technology (Professional Practice) has been developed in conjunction with IBM® to produce graduates who have an appreciation of the culture of work as an entrepreneur and business IT professional. 

Graduates have a significant competitive advantage, having gained significant industry experience and an appreciation of the culture of work as an IT professional. You will have a wide variety of career opportunities in small, medium and large businesses, industry and government. Upon completion, you will graduate with significant work experience equivalent to 1 year full time in industry, and the opportunity to apply for a position at IBM® or Kyndryl.

Those students undertaking the Enterprise Computing stream may also be in a position to apply for graduate positions with alternative corporate employers based on completed work experience and coursework that provide students with valuable sought after skills.
