Wentworth Institute of Technology (WUT) is a credible private technical engineering and design college in Boston, Massachusetts, founded in 1904. The comprehensive institution is comprised primarily of four colleges/departments: the College of Architecture, Design, and Construction Management, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and the College of Professional and Continuing Education. The campus at Wentworth Institute is in an urban setting with a close-knit community, and the majority of students live on campus. It is located on a 31-acre campus in Boston. The institute is made up of 16 buildings, 9 of which are residence halls, and the rest are administration offices, classrooms, laboratories, a library, and a sports centre.

 

Wentworth Institute has a housing campus where nearly 80% of students reside. Housing for students is guaranteed for the entire four-year period. Each suite includes a living area and a bathroom. Students can use the study room, mailroom, game room, auditorium, laundry facilities, and vending machines. 

 

The Centre for Student Engagement works to create experiences that help new students succeed at Wentworth. New Student Orientation, Wentworth Opening Week, First Year Seminar Classes, and Welcome Socials are among the programmes available to new students. The goal of these programmes is to foster an environment in which students can learn, grow, and succeed.

 

In addition to primary care, Wentworth Institute of Technology facilities is inclusive of specialised services such as counselling, disability services, and comprehensive health education.
