The University of Wisconsin, La Crosse (UWL or UW-La Crosse) is a public university that was founded in 1909 and is a member of the University of Wisconsin System. It grants degrees in Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate studies. The College of Business Administration has received international accreditation, and the UW System has designated the fields of microbiology and exercise and sport science as Centers of Excellence. Moreover, the university provides one of only two Midwest undergraduate archaeology majors, the sole nuclear medicine technology programme in the UW System, and the only nationally accredited degrees in recreation management and therapeutic recreation in Wisconsin.

Facilities
One of the main University of Wisconsin, La Crosse facilities includes the university library on campus which is called Murphy Library and there are many other libraries too along with it.
