The University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) is a public university located in Odessa, Texas, in the United States. It was established in 1973 as a branch campus of the University of Texas System, and it became a standalone university in 1991. UT Permian Basin welcomed 615 undergraduate students. In the same year, the university had an acceptance rate of 64.7%

The central campus of the University of Texas, Permian Basin is located in Odyssey, and the secondary campus is located in Midway.
