The University of Potomac is a private university with campuses in Washington D.C., Virginia, and online. It was founded in 1991 as Potomac College and was granted university status in 2018. The strength of the university is small with 232 students and 77 international students.

 

The university offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in business, cybersecurity, international business, accounting, healthcare administration, and information technology. The institution has three vibrant campuses in Washington, D.C, Falls Church in Virginia and Chicago, Illinois. The main campus of the university is located in Washington, DC, a bustling city with a dynamic multicultural atmosphere and limitless professional options. It provides access to over 50 databases, including ProQuest, EBSCOhost, and JSTOR, which provide access to thousands of scholarly journals, articles, and other resources. 

 

Cafeteria - The nutritional needs of everyone on campus are met by PSC Dining Services which promotes positive and sustainable health choices for all. At the Commons, students will find all-you-care-to-eat options in variety. ‘The Rapids’ is another place where they serve their ala carte options (packaged meals). Both of these cafeterias are located on the first floor of the university.

The University of Potomac's acceptance rate is between 90% - 100% for international students. Therefore the university follows an open admission process for students. All students have to do is submit their application on time.
