The University of Minnesota is a public research university located in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. It was founded in 1851 and is the oldest and largest public university in the state. Whether you're a first-time applicant to the Colorado School of Mines, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants. Students wishing to be admitted to UMN must make a mandatory nonrefundable application fee payment of 55 USD for undergraduate programs and 95 USD for graduate programs.
