The University of Massachusetts Lowell is a public research university located in Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. It is part of the University of Massachusetts system and has been in operation since the 1970s. 

 

The university has a vast student population of 18,244 with 100 undergraduate programs, more than 40 master's, and 30 doctorate programs. Moreover, the university has a moderately selective acceptance rate of 69%. Along with this, UMass boasts a well-known faculty of 1,110 professors and 1,150 staff members. 

 

One of the few public colleges in the US that provide authorized undergraduate degrees in plastics engineering, sound recording technology, meteorology, and nuclear engineering. It introduced the concept of a degree in music education. 

 

The College of Fine Arts, Manning School of Business, Francis College of Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences College, Kennedy College of Sciences, Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences, and School of Education are the six schools and colleges that make up the institution.

Admission

UMass Lowell Entry Requirements

Whether you're a first-time applicant to UMass Lowell, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants.
