UMass Boston's English MA Program is one of the largest liberal arts graduate programs at the university. All of our students and faculty engage with the imaginative worlds that texts create—worlds created and shared by literary authors, professional writers, critical readers, and reflective thinkers. We offer a flexible program of study with four areas of concentration: literature, composition, pedagogy, and creative writing.
