The University of Maine (UMaine) is a public research university located in Orono, Maine, United States. It is the flagship campus of the University of Maine System and the largest university in the state. The university was established in 1865 as a land-grant college and is the oldest public university in the state. The university has an acceptance rate of 92% and has an open admission policy.

Admission

University of Maine Entry Requirements

Whether you're a first-time applicant to the University of Maine, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants. Students wishing to be admitted to the University of Maine must make a mandatory application fee payment of $40 for undergraduates and $65 for graduates. These payments are non-refundable.
