US News & World Report 2024:

University of Georgia achieved a notable position on the global stage, securing #324 position.

 

QS World University Ranking 2024:

University of Georgia has shown excellence by securing 351–400 spot on the global scale.

 

The UGA maintained its position in the top 20 for the seventh year in a row at No. 16 in the list of the finest public universities in the country published by the US News & World Report in 2023. Together with Ohio State University, the university is ranked at No. 16, just ahead of Purdue University at No. 18. It was ranked No. 15, slightly behind the Georgia Institute of Technology, and behind the College of William & Mary and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, who are tied at No. 13.

Along with Georgia Tech, UGA is one of just two Georgia-based colleges to rank in the top 20. Georgia is one of only four states with multiple institutions in the top 20 (the others being California, Florida, and Virginia). Additionally, the only two Southeastern Conference schools still in the top 20 are the UGA and the University of Florida. The university received excellent ratings in a number of different categories. One of the top 25 undergraduate business programs in the US is offered by the Terry College of Business. The insurance program once again took the top spot among its separate degrees. The accounting program came in at No. 14, while the real estate program was ranked No. 5.
