Acceptance Rate

The University of Connecticut's acceptance rate stands at 56% making it a moderately competitive university to get into. Storrs is a sleepy town about 30 minutes from Hartford, 60 minutes from Providence, R.I., and 90 minutes from Boston. Without many activities off campus, students can get involved in more than 450 clubs and organisations on campus, including more than 30 of both the men's and women's basketball programs at UConn, known as the fraternities and sororities. They can also watch a movie in the on-campus movie theatre and skate for free on the school's ice rink.

Fees

The University of Connecticut fees differ from one course to another. International students when compared to national students have to pay a little extra. Although this does not mean that students have to miss the chance of going abroad and continuing their education.
