• No GRE scores are required. 
• A baccalaureate degree in computer science from a regionally accredited college or university or a baccalaureate degree in any other field with additional prerequisites (see below)
• A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 (on a 4-point scale) is required for full admission to the program, and 2.75 is required for conditional admission. GPA calculations may be based upon the cumulative units or the last 60 units of the degree.
• Prerequisites (for non-computer science majors) with a grade of "B" or higher:
• COSC 501 - Fundamentals of Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis
• COSC 502 - Computer Organization and Assembly Language for Non-CS/CIS Major, as determined by the graduate program director. 
•  MATH 263 - Discrete Mathematics (MATH 263 is not required for students who have an engineering or mathematics baccalaureate degree.)
• Students may repeat prerequisite courses no more than two times to be eligible to take graduate-level courses.
