Texas State University, founded in 1899, is a public research university in Lone Star State. Its 38,000 undergraduate and graduate students can pick from more than 200 bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degree programs in fields ranging from biology to music to business to geography. Entry Requirements

The admissions procedure at Texas State is the same for overseas applicants as it is for US students. International students, on the other hand, must fulfil additional Texas State University entry requirements. TSU's admission procedure for overseas students begins with an online application and specific language competence scores are required. The institution requires a minimum GPA of 2.75/4 (80%) for graduate studies and 3.0/4 (83%-86%) for undergraduate courses. Students must have an IELTS score of 6.5 and a TOEFL-IBT score of 78.
