Graduate Certificate Counseling Spanish-Speaking Clients

The Graduate Certification Program addresses the critical shortage of trained professional counselors who serve the rapidly growing Hispanic/Latino population's mental health needs. The online certificate supports the clinical training counselors receive and fosters the development of cultural and linguistic competencies necessary to offer therapeutic services in Spanish. The coursework includes three content courses and one community internship experience with bicultural/bilingual supervision.
