It was named after its location in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and was established as a law school in 1906. Mayors, numerous federal and state judges, and members of the U.S. Congress are among the notable alumni of the university. Facilities
The various buildings that makeup SU are dispersed throughout Beacon Hill and downtown Boston. On well-known Beacon Hill in the heart of Boston, close to the Massachusetts State House and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, is where the main campus is located. The university was a commuter-only school up until 1995.
The Rams participate in both the Eastern College Athletic Conference and the Commonwealth Coast Conference (ECAC). From 1995 until 2020, they belonged to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Baseball, basketball, cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, golf, ice hockey, soccer, and tennis are among the sports played by males. Suffolk University Entry Requirements
