About

State University of New York at New Paltz was founded in 1828 and became a state school in 1884. Later on, in 1938, it became a four-year college. Today, it offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of fields. There are nearly 100 undergraduate and over 50 graduate degree programmes offered at New Paltz.

 

SUNY New Paltz is accredited by several organisations which include the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design and the National Association of Schools of Music.
