This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science in Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance and provides the knowledge and skills required to successfully pass the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) written, oral, and practical examinations required by the FAA for certification as an airframe and powerplant (A&P) maintenance technician. The training and knowledge the student receives from the General Aviation Maintenance, Airframe, and Powerplant Aviation Maintenance certificate programs funnels directly into this degree program.
