Associate in Arts in American Sign Language

The School of Modern Languages offers a Certificate of Achievement and an Associate’s Degree in American Sign Language. The primary goal of the program is to provide students with fundamental knowledge about Deaf culture and history, and the skills in American Sign Language required to continue their education at a four-year college or university. Courses are sequenced in order to ensure transferability to a similar major at a four-year college or university.
