• An undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university
• All students should have earned an overall GPA of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate program. Additionally, accounting majors must have a GPA of at least 3.0 in their undergraduate accounting courses. For those students with an undergraduate degree in other than accounting, a GPA of at least 3.0 in their major subject is required
• Individuals who hold a degree in Accounting from Queens College and have an overall GPA and a major GPA of 3.2 or greater, will not be required to submit GMAT, letters of reference, or essay with their admissions package. Individuals who hold a degree in Accounting from another CUNY college and have an overall GPA and a major GPA of 3.2 or greater are exempt only from the GMAT

In these sessions, you will learn about developments and trends in various areas of tax law and the tax profession. Classes emphasize up-to-the-minute tax law and trends, giving students experience solving real-world problems. Tax strategy will add value to your future endeavors, regardless of whether you work or intend to work in accounting, tax consulting, small, medium, and large corporations, not-for-profit organizations, government, or other organizations. Tax strategy is important and applicable in almost every arena.
