Northern State University (NSU) is a public university located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The university is also controlled by the South Dakota Board of Regents.
The university's sporting teams, known as the Wolves, compete in 13 competitive sports. Facilities
NSU is located in one of the most beautiful areas since it includes contemporary facilities, green space, and historic buildings. Additionally, the campus is tiny, secure, and has an extremely low crime rate. The Mewaldt-Jensen Building is one of the oldest buildings and has 16 classrooms, 13 laboratories, and 60 offices and is home to the departments of mathematics, science, and business, where the majority of classes are held. Northern State University facilities also include more than 50 student groups and organisations that are active. Students have access to a variety of resources on campus, including the library, the Barnett Centre for Fitness, and art galleries. The Barnett Centre is an 8000-seat athletic complex that includes an arena, a pool, a track indoors, volleyball, handball, and other sports. On-campus facilities include a technology centre with three computer labs, and two smart classrooms, a fully equipped TV studio, a media centre, a conference room, and offices for the technical staff and academics in the humanities and sciences.
