Students who are admitted after the priority deadline will be reviewed to the extent that funds are available.

To qualify for a general merit scholarship, students must meet the deadline and criteria for the semester they are applying for admission. Scholarships range from $750 to $3,500 per academic year.

In the face of this extensive scholarship array, international students can effectively alleviate the financial challenges associated with pursuing education in a foreign land. The avenue for applying to impressive external scholarships is UniScholars, where you'll discover various scholarship categories tailored to your academic achievements and financial circumstances.

Finances

Most international students are obligated to show proof of sufficient funds in order to obtain a visa. While some students may have the opportunity to make use of scholarships, not all students cut the eligibility to get a scholarship or a grant. Moreover, not all scholarships cover 100% of your study abroad expenses. At such times, most students resort to acquiring education loans to avoid the financial hassles associated with studying at the university. UniCreds is the ideal education loan marketplace if you’re looking for attractive interest rates and free consultation services!

Accommodation

Incoming freshmen are encouraged to live in the residence halls, Killingsworth Hall, Legacy Hall, and McCullough-Trigg Hall. These halls have dedicated Residence Life and Housing Staff who are trained to assist students in their first years at MSU Texas and offer specific activities, events and programmes to support students as they transition to the university. Students are encouraged to get involved, meet new people and maximize their success as Mustangs.

UniAcco makes it easy for students to find affordable and convenient student housing near their university. They offer a wide range of options, including luxury studios, en-suites, and shared apartments. This makes it easy for students to find housing that meets their needs and budget. In other words, UniAcco is a one-stop shop for students looking for external student housing.
