Program Overview

The Mercer University School of Medicine (MUSM) Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program seeks to prepare a diverse student body to pursue a spectrum of medical career options in order to become physician leaders who can advance biomedical research and improve local, national and global health.  MUSM is deeply committed to its mission of educating physicians and health professionals to meet the primary care and health care needs of rural and medically underserved areas of Georgia.  As such, MUSM only accepts Georgia residents to its M.D. program.
