About

Manhattan College is a private, Lasallian Catholic college located in Riverdale, New York City, New York. In the Fall of 2022, the university saw an enrollment of 1,470 students on campus. Moreover, the university has an average acceptance rate of 75.4% which is not considered stringent in the least. It was initially founded in 1853 as a day school by the Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle Christian Brothers) but was later awarded a license by the New York State Board of Regents to become an institution of higher learning.

 

The college offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of fields, including engineering, business, education, and science. There are 100 programmes offered in its six distinct schools. The programmes are taught by a well-known faculty of 240 full-time members. Manhattan College is known for its strong engineering and business programmes. 

 

Civil engineering, finance, communication, biology, and early childhood education are the most common majors. Students can choose from a unique selection of five-year programmes offered by the college. Facilities

The Bronx borough of Riverdale is home to the Manhattan College campus. 23 acres make up the site, which is only 10 miles from Manhattan's midtown. There are two sections to the campus, which are joined by a building for students. More than 100 clubs and organisations have been founded and are run by students. Admission

Manhattan College, Riverdale Entry Requirements

Whether you're a first-time applicant to Manhattan College, an undergraduate student seeking advanced status, or a returning student re-enrolling after a break, the admissions standards are the same for all applicants. Students wishing to be admitted to Manhattan College must make a mandatory application fee payment of $75 for undergraduates and  $75 for postgraduates, both of which are non-refundable. International students need to have a minimum GPA requirement of 3.2 to 3.8 on a minimum average scale of 4.0. Each applicant must provide the following:
