Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is a public research university situated in  Indiana, Pennsylvania. The university had a student body consisting of 7,044 undergraduates and 1,865 postgraduates, resulting in a combined enrollment of 9,009 students last year in 2022. IUP operates under the authority of a local Council of Trustees and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education's Board of Governors.  

 

IUP provides Distance Education programmes and adding to that over 140 bachelor's programmes, 60 graduate degrees, and 14 doctoral programmes. These programmes span various fields, including the Eberly College of Business and Technology, the Education School, and the Criminology Department. Additionally, the university has introduced two new undergraduate major programmes in Public Health and Environmental Engineering, both of which are highly sought-after career paths in Pennsylvania and across the nation.
