Are you passionate about learning and sharing the different facets of music? Do you want to foster a child’s love for music as a teacher? The B.M.E. in Music Education program allows students to gain the music and teaching knowledge that will effectively guide others studying music to succeed. With a focus on pairing musical theory and practice with instructional development and real classroom experience, students learn of the fundamental music education methods. This education degree prepares students for taking on graduate school or embarking on their teaching careers for elementary through high school grades.

Entry Requirement
- MLAB – a minimum score of 76; with this option the College will also assess oral proficiency post-admission for the purpose of placement
- Official high school transcript should include courses taken, grades received, and confirmation of degree earned with date. Greensboro College requires applications from prospective F-1, J-1, J-2 and all non U.S.
- Complete and pass the required American Language Academy (in Greensboro, NC) Academic English Level 5 assessment.
