The degree provides the student with the skills to utilize the nursing process and assess unique patient needs across the lifespan using a concept-based approach to learning. Degree competence will be assessed regularly by evaluation of expected learning outcomes in the clinical setting as well as course examinations. Emphasis is placed on the use of critical thinking and creative problem-solving in the clinical setting.
