Associate of Science in Fire and Emergency

The fire and emergency technology program prepares students for entry-level employment and job upgrades in fire services and emergency medical fields. By completing the degree or certificate requirements, students will gain the ability to apply the principles of fire combat, fire protection organization, fire prevention, fire behavior, and building construction. Students will also gain proficiency in emergency medical assistance and in the handling of hazardous materials and emergency vehicles and apparatus.
