The music program provides students with a comprehensive foundation in music theory, history, and performance. This is achieved through a structured program of training in a variety of solo performance media, ensembles, music theory, keyboard skills, music history, and music technology. The program prepares students for transfer and further study of music education, music business, audio for film/video production, songwriting, and music production. Students will demonstrate proficiency by analyzing, writing, interpreting, and performing pieces of music, and by demonstrating skills utilizing professional music software.
