Associate of Arts in Japanese

By completing the degree requirements, the student will acquire proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Japanese and will gain knowledge of Japanese culture. The student will be able to communicate in Japanese, write formal compositions, and read the texts of Japanese authors, all at the intermediate-mid level of competency. Competencies will be assessed throughout the language sequence with written and oral exams.
