The Darden School of Business is a graduate business school in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. It is part of the University of Virginia and was founded in 1955 and named after Colgate Whitehead Darden, the former governor of Virginia and the former president of the University of Virginia. Facilities

The campus of the Darden School of Business is situated in Charlottesville, Virginia, about two hours drive from Washington, DC. There is a 400-person dining hall, a 450-seat auditorium, a video production facility, and the Campus Library which are all located on the campus. More than 40 clubs and organisations are available for students to join, such as the Intramural Sports Club, the Network of Executive Women, and the Black Executive MBAs. There are some other prominent facilities which include:

 

Library Facilities - The Darden Camp Library provides access to a wide range of business-related resources, including books, journals, databases, and other materials. It is named after the Camp family who supported building the library at the school. The library also offers research assistance, instruction, and other services to help patrons navigate and make use of these resources effectively. The Gregory L. Large Capital Markets and Entrepreneurial Resource Centre in the library has dual monitor student workstations with financial databases, two Bloomberg terminals, and a wall monitor for group screen sharing. The library serves the students, faculty, and staff of the Darden School of Business, as well as the wider University community. 

 

On-campus Facilities - DSB has 3 on-campus residence halls which are Copeley Hill Apartments, Faulkner Drive Rooms and Piedmont Apartments. At these buildings, students may find amenities such as Furnished and unfurnished single and triple-bedroom apartments with double beds, six-drawer dressers, coffee tables, nightstands, etc. There are more options available off-campus on Arlington Boulevard, Ivy Road, Downtown Mall, Belmont etc.

Darden School of Business Entry Requirements

 

There are several intakes which take place throughout the year at the campus of Darden. Students wishing to apply to this college should note that they can either online or physically, either way, the admission procedure remains the same. The application fee is mandatory and has to be completed to successfully complete submitting the application form which happens to be $250. International students need to have a minimum score of 60% in their secondary school and bachelor's degree results.
