The campus is situated in a mountain valley with views of the Rocky Mountains to the west and the Front Range to the east. The surrounding area offers recreation opportunities such as skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. The campus encompasses 373 acres and houses 17 buildings. And over 200 student organizations and clubs are involved in music, student government, and Greek life, as well as other activities. Housing Facilities
The institute has eight residence halls developed with traditional and suite styles, as well as seven themes of cooperative learning. Spruce hall, weaver towers, elm hall, traditional halls, and maple hall are the names of the residence halls. In the fall of 2020, the university intends to open a new residence hall. Both graduate and undergraduate students have access to housing. The institute also assists students in locating off-campus housing.
