About
Colorado College is a private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It started in 1874 and was founded by Reverend Thomas Nelson Haskell to honor his daughter. Over the years, the college has changed a lot. Important changes happened when President William H. Gill was in charge from 1947 to 1955. He brought in new things like an honor system, allowed students to govern themselves, and started an ROTC programme.
The college campus has grown and now includes new buildings and facilities that match its old design. Colorado College is known for being eco-friendly. It has a library that doesn't produce carbon and other green projects. The college also has a special way of teaching called the Block Plan. Students study just one subject for about three and a half weeks at a time.
