The college’s campus is divided into two sections: the Alfred Taubman Centre for Design Education and the Walter and Josephine Ford Campus. The distance that separates the two campuses would be only a mile. Students could either walk or take transportation services. The college provides several student clubs and organisations for all its students. Design Club, Bike Club, Magic Club, and LightSaber Club are some of the most popular Clubs and Organisations here. Taubman Centre for Design Education: This is the main building on campus, which houses classrooms, studios, labs, galleries, and administrative offices. It also features a cafeteria, a bookstore, and a digital media centre. It is a 760,000-square-foot building and also houses the Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies. There are several technologically advanced rooms, 150 dorm rooms, design studios, one conference centre, a bunch of fitness rooms and game rooms. 

 

Walter B. Ford II Building: This building is dedicated to automotive design, featuring studios, workshops, and a showroom for student work. It is 2400 square feet vast and is built to accommodate 125 people. 

 

A. Alfred Taubman Center for Transportation Design: This facility is focused on courses such as  Advertising Design, Communication Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Product Design and Transportation Design undergraduate programmes as well graduate programmes in Color & Materials Design, Design for Climate Action, Motion Design, Transportation Design and User Experience Design. There is also the Design Core Detroit and Shinola which reside in this facility.


Wendell W. Anderson Jr. Campus Commons: This building features a student lounge, a game room, a fitness centre, and a student-run coffee shop. It is best suited for lectures and presentations and also has a theatre which can accommodate 235 people.
