The Clarion University of Pennsylvania is a public educational institution located in Clarion, Pennsylvania. The educational institute was established in 1867 and later transformed into a university in the 1980s. In addition to its main campus in Pittsburgh at West Penn School of Nursing, the university also operates Clarion University - Venango in Oil City. A programme for extended studies is also available through Clarion, with online classes, locations, and various hybrid learning environments. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has accredited Clarion University's programmes.

 

The College of Business Administration & Information Sciences offers 15 different undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and it has programmes that are internationally recognised and AACSB accredited. There are more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degree programmes available through the College of Arts and Sciences. The  Department of Biology and Geosciences, as well as the Departments of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics, are all part of the College of Arts and Sciences.

 

Clarion University - Venango offers two-year, independent associate degrees in seven academic fields. The campus also offers a few baccalaureate degrees and gives students the chance to start any of the more than 175 programmes offered by the university. The university has four campuses, which are located in Somerset County, Pittsburgh, Venango in Oil City, and Clarion in Pennsylvania. There are 43 structures on the campus, including the planetarium, the Carlson and Suhr libraries, the George R. Lewis Center for Computing Services, and well-equipped computer and science labs. 

 

All the major Clarion University of Pennsylvania facilities for students, including Student Financial Services, the Registrar, Disability Support, Career Services, Health & Wellness Services, and others, are housed in Becht Hall.
